Gears of War Merchandise

Gears of War is a series of Xbox 360 games that takes place on the planet Sera, which has been overrun by the Locust, a race of vicious subterranean aliens. Marcus Fenix, a hulking soldier in the COG (Coalition of Ordered Governments), reunites with good friend Dom Santiago in the aftermath of a Locust attack that nearly wiped out Sera’s human population. With the help of their small Delta Squad, Marcus and Dom attempt to defend the human survivors against the Locust hordes, even if that means cutting them down one by one with their signature weapons: Lancers. (The name Lancer is somewhat misleading—instead of a bayonet, the rifles have chainsaw attachments).
