Donald Blake returned to New York and began using his alter ego Thor to fight crime ranging from common street thugs to super-powered villains such as Mister Hyde and the Absorbing Man. This attracted the attention of Thor's evil step-brother Loki, god of mischief. The trickster god renewed their eons-long blood feud and began scheming and plotting against Thor. One such scheme brought together Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man, the Wasp and Iron Man. Together, these combined heroes defeated Loki and later, formed The Avengers.

Thor is by far one of the more powerful Avengers to date. He is nearly indestructible; one of the strongest beings on Earth and his hammer, Mjolnir, grants him control over weather; the ability to summon lightning, rain and immensely powerful winds. Thor can also fly by propelling the hammer and open inter-dimensional portals by spinning it at incalculable speeds. His enchanted hammer, once thrown, will always return to his hand no matter the obstacles barring its path.

After many adventures both with the Avengers and by himself, Odin decided his once overly- boisterous son had earned the restoration of his origin, returning to him his withheld memories. Soon after this restoration, Thor went on to fight evil on Earth as well as his true home Asgard. There, he fought the demon Sutur, the dark elf, Kurse, and armies of frost giants. Thor also met other mythological heroes and villains, fighting alongside Hercules and battling against the Egyptian god Set.

Thor has proved himself time and again as one of the greatest warriors alive. He has lived through Ragnarok, fought with the Avengers in the Kree-Skrull War, taken over as ruler of Asgard, battled in frog-form, and created a new Asgard on Earth. Thor has gone through many changes and incarnations in his time, but one thing will always remain the same: if evil from any of the nine realms should surface, Thor will be there to win the day!
