The C-Project has abandoned its shattered home base and relocated to a backup facility aboard an ocean liner. Kagami still has Ceres/Aya and the lab-created hagoromo - the celestial robes - but now he faces a new challenge to his ambitions: the return of Tôya! This, however, is not just the miraculous resurrection of Aya's beloved, but the culmination of an age-old process that brings the long and difficult search for the hagoromo to a startling conclusion.
