Coach Mitaka definitely leads an enviable life. He's dashing; he's athletic; he's financially set, and his popularity with the ladies knows no bounds, but there's one little aspect of his personality that has curtailed his success with the lovely Kyoko from day one - his crippling, petrifying, and (all-around) embarrassing fear of dogs (Kyoko's dog Soichiro in particular). Mitaka has gone into seclusion to cure himself of his phobia, promising that he will return as a new man.... But will he emerge from his canine-chrysalis in time to win Kyoko's heart, or will his lot be forever thrown in with the shy, patrician, and multiple dog-loving heiress Asuna?
